Radiowa Akademia 2025 - Radio Kapitał, Warsaw
DJing is one way to work with sound. Radio is another. In 2025 perun joined the fourth edition of Radiowa Akademia - an open, experimental radio school run by Radio Kapitał in Warsaw, running June to December across seven workshop blocks.
The motivation was simple: curiosity about how radio works as a medium, and whether sound forms outside the DJ set could express something different - slower, more documentary, more personal.
Radiowa Akademia covered radio journalism, field recording, urban soundscape, sound production in Reaper, voice and on-air delivery, audio collage and musique concrète, and the history of experimental radio - from the Polish Radio Experimental Studio to community radio traditions across Europe. The DJ module was taught by Avtomat - the same teacher perun trained under at Instytut Dźwięku.
