perun is the project of Warsaw-based DJ Damian Gutowski, named after the Slavic god of thunder but the official version is that he was shocked by electricity when he was a kid and since then it runs in his blood.

He started DJing in 2024 at Instytut Dźwięku in Warsaw, training under wings of Avtomat. A year later: Hangar Festival 02, Salty Pleasure 8 at Hala Odra in Szczecin, a closing set for Placebo Collective, and events across multiple Polish cities.

Sets move through house, breaks, minimal, techno and electro, tracing a deliberate arc from warm foundations toward harder terrain — building slow, ending hard.

The crate is dark and almost entirely vocal-free, enriched with acid house and dubs.

Music collection assembled from Bandcamp, Discogs and an old tape collection, with reference points in Tresor, Ostgut Ton, Running Back and Dekmantel.
